What this test checks
How to use this test
Connect a controller, start, and release both sticks. Reset before measuring the resting center; intentional movement also contributes to the maximum observed offset.
What the results mean
An offset while the stick is untouched is more informative than the maximum recorded during movement.
Troubleshooting
Release the stick, reset the maximum and repeat; compare another USB port or controller profile.
Browser limitation
A persistent resting offset may indicate stick drift, but calibration and browser mapping also matter. There is no universal pass/fail threshold. Connect before starting and press a controller button if it is not visible. Trigger labels require standard mapping; unavailable haptics do not imply device failure.
